With Curtis Eller, Little Green Pig and more presenting Stop Making Sense
The LL Orchestra turns the page to an innovative new chapter. Continuing his residency at Mystery Brewing, multi-instrumentalist Louis Landry leads a group of NC's finest musicians. Luis Rodriguez, hot off a run of gigs launching 6 String Drag's latest, is the group's guitarist. Drummer Eric Mrozkowski is well known to Durham's musicians through his sideman work and his homegrown Mrozfest. The group performed an extended run at Duke University, and released the digital EP "Dontstop" last year. Now, for the first time, the LLO will feature a DJ as part of the band. Antonio Collins, also known as DJ Mr Dr, will incorporate an array of samples, triggers and gizmos to recreate sounds from LL's concept album JJ vs the Digital Whale. It will be heartwarming, dance-inducing, face melting and mind-blowing (*not necessarily in that order)
